GrowlTunes multiple instance question

In the past, with iTunes and GrowlTunes open, if I pushed next track repeatedly, the growl boxes would pile up, one below the other, very nice and smooth ;).

Since then I uninstalled Growl, and have installed it again, and now, when I push next track repeatedly, the new track just displays in the same box, in other words, only one growl box is ever on my screen at once for Growltunes updates, even if next track is pushed rapidly.

This is probably the smallest nit-pick any of you have ever heard, but I'd really appreciate any feedback on this, are there any solutions to this? Any settings/values/files I can change? I poked around in the Growl preferance pane, couldn't find anything.

Thanks,
Brad

The feature of having an alert overtaken by a similar one (so they don't fill up the screen) is called coalescing. As far as I know, there is no option in GrowlTunes to turn off coalescing.

1. This is a GrowlTunes issue, not a growl issue.
2. Many people consider the previous behavior a bug.

Are you using Bezel? That coalesces.

My personal favorite for GrowlTunes is Cumulimbus, since it shows a nice sized picture of the album art.
