this may be a stupid question... but growl preferances claims that itunes should run on its own... only it dosent. actually the only one that seems to work on its own is adium. is there a script i can run or a text i can edit or somthin that will allow these to run upon starting growl? without having to manually find the app? any help would be greatly appriciated.

You could try adding growlTunes to the Startup Items, in System Preferences -> Accounts
