Network notifications not working !!

Hello everybody,

I'm a long-time Growl user, and I really like it. I've just got a second Mac, and I intended to use Growl network notifications. But they don't work. Here are a few hints :
-> Obviously I checked the right cases in the preference pane
-> I'm using a French Mac OS X. Maybe localization broke things up ?
-> Both Growls "see" each-other through rendez-vous : in the preference pane of both computer, I can see the other.
-> I didn't block UDP
-> One important thing : using growl.py, I can send notification from one computer to the other, and it works. So I guess Growl is not SENDING notifications.

Please help me fixing this, it's been driving me crazy all afternoon :)

I'm having a similar issue. I've been using Growl for a long time, and am trying to set up a Caller ID relay system. I'm using Silica 1.2 for caller ID functionality on a G4/Sawtooth 350 and Growl 0.7.4. On my iBook/G4 1GHz, I'm using Growl 0.7.4 and that's it. Both machines are running Mac OS 10.4.5 (8H14). The purpose of this entire exercise is laziness, so I don't have to get out of bed and trundle across the apartment at godless o'clock AM to see who's calling me.

The symptoms are exactly as described above. The Macs can see each other, but applications will neither remote-register automatically (should they?) nor will messages ship between the two.

Edit: Coincidentally, I've found that Silica is a damn fine caller ID application.
