Help: no Bezel display prefs?

Somehow the prefs for the Bezel display have become messed up - Under "Display Options", when I highlight the Bezel, the right hand pane says "No Display Preferences".

I am 99% sure that before I could set transparency, location, choose the monitor, etc. The Bezel has defaulted to my 2nd monitor in the far left corner and I want it in a different location.

Any suggestions? I tried stopping/starting Growl, upgraded from .73 to .74 (I am pretty sure it was doing broken before the upgrade, but I could be mistaken).

Stop Growl and Growl Menu

In system prefs, ctrl+click to remove Growl.

Go into ~/Library/Application Support/ and delete the Growl folder

Go into ~/Library/Preferences and delete the Growl plist.

Reinstall Growl

somehow I didn't get notified via email on this reply...

is this the proper pref to delete:

com.Growl.GrowlHelperApp.plist

I did as you recommended but no luck. The reason I ask about the proper pref pane is because when I reinstall Growl, all my settings seem to be as they were before. Does Growl perhaps store this info elsewhere?

If I run the uninstaller it asks me to find the "GrowlMenu" application, which is nowhere to be found on my machine. I can, however, activate the menubar item from the prefs pane.

EDIT: It seems Growl did reset, as Bezel is now in the middle of my main screen; however the pref pane still reads "No display preferences".

Fixed it

I found a "Bezel2" which I recall some random shareware/freeware app installed (can't recall which one). Tried removing it, and all is well again.

Oh wow, that is weird as all get out.

Happen to have a link to that Bezel2?

It comes as a part of Strider (Google Cache).
