Question about Webkit-based Growl style

Post by javester »

Hi Guys,
Just wondering, when creating a new webkit-based Growl style, is it possible for me to put an anchor tag on the icon image which is then opened in Safari when I click on the icon?

If not, do you have any suggestions on how I can do this. With the Webkit plugin, or with an Objective C plugin.

I already looked around and I just want a tip in the right direction.
Thanks heaps!

To answer my own question, I played around with the Crystal and Example GrowlStyles and I now know that Growl doesn't allow me to trap clicks on the icon.

I even tried putting a mouseover javascript on the template.html, but no dice.

My question now is, how can I trap clicks on the icon to open the icon image in Preview. Clicks elsewhere should dispose of the growl notification as usual.

I poked around the source code but I need some hints. I'm more of a C rather than an Objective C guy :)
