GrowlMail notifications and IMAP folders

Does GrowlMail send notifications when new messages come into your inbox, or is there a way to configure it to notify on ALL messages that arrive? I'm using IMAP and my mail is filtered on the server.

I'm thinking that my only option now is to disable GrowlMail completely and just have Mail send a notifcation via growlnotify when new mail arrives.

We ship applescripts that you can use in rules for specific folders. Look on the dmg in the Scripts folder.

Ah, thanks.

I imagine that in order to use the AppleScripts without getting duplicate notiications (at least for messages that come into my inbox) I'll need to unregister GrowlMail from Growl, correct?

You can remove GrowlMail as it won't be necessary.

Look in /Library/Mail/Bundles

This problem will be fixed in GrowlMail in the next version of Growl.
