Display network notifications on a TV

Is there any solution to allow notifications to be displayed on a regular TV? My computer sits in my office, running mail and ichat, so when Im in the living room watching TV I would love to see notifications show up there. I have a hacked TiVo that can do caller ID notifications using YAC or elseed, but would love a growl solution.

Any thoughts??
