Growl and Front Row

Either I was hallucinating or Growl notifications used to show up in Front Row as recently as last week. This week they definitely are not.

Anybody have any wisdom on this?

Still doing it? I don't have FrontRow to look, but I'm sure others do.

Could you define how this occurred a bit? I have FrontRow on one of my laptops and can easily test against the latest trunk for Growl.

It's just that I thought Growl notifications showed up in Front Row through September. Now they don't. But I am not 100% sure. So the first question is: did/does Growl work with Front Row for anyone?

If I wasn't hallucinating, then we can proceed.

I'm still using the same version of Growl, so the likely culprit would be a Apple update in September.

My setup:
3 computers running Growl 0.74 on 10.4.7. The last Core Duo 20 inch iMac and a Dual 2GHz PowerMac G5 in my home office. Mac Mini Extreme Core Duo running as home entertainment center.

The 2 office computers run a few programs that growl on the network. MostIy GarageSale and Phlink. The Mini runs Transmission, and growls when a download is finished.

All of these programs' notifications still appear on the Mini when Front Row isn't running.

What display style did you have set?

I've always used Music Video on the Mini.

Using FrontRow + 10.4.8 + all updates and Growl (svn) I am unable to reproduce this.

I'll try the trunk, then. But I don't know Subversion at all. What's the command to pull down the best revision?
