Hey all. I'm rather new to cyberduck, but I'm loving it. There are a few thoughts I've had on this, however.
1) One thing the app Transmit trumps Cyberduck on is that it has column view. Is there any way to implement this into Cyberduck?
2) The Transfers window is a bit too bloated. There are some possible changes that could make it more simple, minimalistic. If I were to mock up a the possible interface change, would I get feedback and would the developer(s) behind Cyberduck consider rehauling its interface?
3) The overall graphics are somewhat mediocre. The icon could use a lot of work. Its just a duck. Its not even a cyberduck. Even something as simple as sunglasses could make it have more character. In addition, the toolbar icons are nice, but they aren't unified. Each icon is nice on its own, but they don't quite work with each other.
Well then, that's all. I look forward for a reply from... someone? Haha.

I disagree, this is about 90% of why I use cyberduck.pixelsage wrote: 1) One thing the app Transmit trumps Cyberduck on is that it has column view. Is there any way to implement this into Cyberduck?

Are you offering to get new icons for cyberduck?pixelsage wrote: 3) The overall graphics are somewhat mediocre. The icon could use a lot of work. Its just a duck. Its not even a cyberduck. Is there any reason not to develop column view? I think if anything, there should be an option for the current and column view. I'm sure many people find column view much easier to work with.The_Tick wrote: I disagree, this is about 90% of why I use cyberduck.
It's too large vertically for being a list of things being uploaded/downloaded. If anything, one possible way to make it smaller vertically is to rid the progress bar. Instead, you could go with a Safari-like loading progress bar, where the background is the loading bar.The_Tick wrote: In what way is it bloated?
No, but I am a very visual person, and I notice these things. If I have some extra time, I may perhaps propose new icons.The_Tick wrote: Are you offering to get new icons for cyberduck?
