Unicode questions.

On Windows i use SmartFTP and it can read perfectly all the folder names on my NAS.
On both window and Mac i could connect it with Samba and they shows up good as well.
However when i use CyberDuck on OSX those folder name became alien writing. ( I did try using different encoding but no luck )
Just wondering could someone share some thoughts as to why this happen?
