Wishes (coming from the PC with FileZilla)

Post by kandall »

I found some features truly missing: percentage display of the queue progression, both for the current file (how do I know if it's the good time to abort a transfer without waiting for the next to begin) and for the whole queue (sizes are neat but you still need to do some mental gym just to know where you are).

I need some way to delete individual files from the queue, when I realize some of them (or even whole directories) mustn't be transferred.

Also, a possibility to display the queue vertically (old 20th century-style), you know, to do all the above things easily.

Otherwise CyberDuck is a pretty cute-looking app which does what I need.

Addition: OK, so it's a very real need: right now I'm transferring a bunch of files; the transfer got cut in the middle, and now CyberDuck stumbles each and every time on the same file it doesn't seem to be able to append (APPE?). In the preferences, I chose "Try to resume" for Already existing files.

But CyberDuck throws an error dialog at me, with only "Cancel" or "Try again" but no "Skip" button. I'll have to clear the queue and throw all the files onto CyberDuck again...

Now if only I could remove that file from the queue and finish the work... because it just won't go any further no matter what I try.
