hi, i'm a total novice at making websites, and i'm quite sure i'm missing something EXTREMELY fundamental and stupid, but...

my (very rudimentary) website was managed by someone else before, and now i'm taking over.

i've edited the text on the home page in textwrangler, saved the changes under the same file name, and dragged the new file's icon to cyberduck to upload it. it asks me to let it 'overwrite' the old file, which i've done.

what else do i do for these changes to "go live"?

when i go to the site, the old text is still there.

turns out i was just being impatient.

now, the new text is there!
