I/O Connection error read time out

Post by lyn low »

I recently upgraded to 2.7.3 and since then have not been able to connect to my sites to upload. (I have tried two different servers, same problem) I cannot use Go Live upload anymore either. I need to upload in active mode. My internet connection also appears to be slower, but this may be coincidental. I had no problems using earlier version of cyber duck and Go Live previously. Any ideas how I might fix this problem?

Here's the error message -

220 81.28.232.69 FTP server ready
USER u20450-lyn
331 Password required for u20450-lyn.
PASS ********

SYST
215 UNIX Type: L8
CWD /
250 CWD command successful
PORT 192,168,1,71,193,19

I have found several posts which seem to deal with similar issues, but no solutions offered! I have now deleted cyberduck, and am considering downloading a different version to see if this works, but i think the download has got into the operating system? I am using an Intel iMac Os X

Thanks, lyn

The problem was not due to the cyberduck upload but the bt internet server. At the same time as downloading the new cyberduck I also downgraded my btinetrnet, and therefore confused the cause of the error - so in case this happens to anyone else - it might be due to the internet provider!
