Irritating problem when downloading multiple files

When I selected multiple files (with shift click) in outline view, and if I deselect certain folders using the command key, cyberduck will still download those deselected folders, and the files contained within, when i drag and drop into a finder window. Any idea as to why this is happening? Any help would be appreciated.
