AppleScript Help Needed

I'm trying to write a script to duplicate and move a file on my server. I use RapidWeaver to build my site. For some reason RapidWeaver doesn't put your sitemap in the location that google wants it. I want to duplicate the sitemap that RapidWeaver generated and move the duplicate to the top level on the server. I'm new to AppleScript. Cyberduck doesn't seem to respond to anything other than "tell application "Cyberduck"". That command will open Cyberduck, but commands like connect, disconnect, duplicate, change folder don't have any effect. I'm not getting errors from Script Editor. Anybody else having problems with scripts or am I doing something wrong?
