ticket #1001 fixed but problem persists in 2.7.3 (uploading)

and I am confused.. I have the issue in ticket #1001, but it says it is fixed... I'm using version 2.7.3 (2930) on 2 GHz Intel Core Duo Mac with OS X 10.4.10

sooo... is there a patch to fix my issue? sync is broke and uploads take forever, cause I need to manually keep "resuming" everytime it hits a subfolder!

Please let me know what I can do (hmmm should I install a previous version that did not have this crashing problem?)
