I just opened Cyberduck and downloaded the latest update, which I show as Version 2.8b1 (3161). After doing that I was unable to sign on using anything that I had previously bookmarked. I went to another ftp program and was able to sign on and upload using the same passwords that were rejected in CD. When I look at those bookmarks, it looks like some extra ftp: or similar redundant info has been placed there in the URL info. So I tried File, Open Connection, and entered the correct info in each block and was able to sign on. I am going to delete the bookmarks, and add them back after using File Open Connection for each ftp bookmark and assume that will reset things correctly. In fact, I just tried that and it did work. Hope this works for you, Joe. Good luck.

I'm having the same problem in 3161, except recreating the connection as a New Connection isn't working, either. Site worked great in the previous version and from the command line, but Cyberduck consistently reports an incorrect password. So I'm now looking for a new FTP client, at least until this bug gets fixed.

Unfortunately, the "Report A Bug" menu option doesn't work, either -- it tells me I have incorrect permissions.

Help!

EDIT: OK, I got it working. I entered the address under Quick Connect, and it accepted the password that way. Now the bookmark works again, too. Weird.
