javascript:emoticon(':(') With the pre-beta version I had no difficulty uploading and managing my files to Earthlink. Just downloaded and installed the upgraded version (2.8b1 (3161)) yesterday while in he process of overwriting a page that had been "under construction." Then everything went downhill. When uploading or syncing nothing changed on my web site even though my files had updated modification / creation dates. When I attempted an upload using 'drag-n-drop' (which I let run overnite) I discovered that the upload had failed because I was "unauthorized." I'm now in the process of attempting the upload of my entire website using the "Upload" function under the File menu. I currently have 5.9 hours remaining (sure would like to go home before 9 o'clock, but doesn't look like that will happen, and my big fear is that it won't matter anyway should this upload should fail too.
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT SOME OF THE FORMATTING / PREFS MAY HAVE CHANGED TO A DEFAULT SETTING WITH THE UPGRADE INSTALLATION.
ALSO, WHERE IS THE FIELD FOR "FTP HOSTNAME?" I UNDERSTAND THAT WITH EARTHLINK YOU NEED TO USE "FTP-DOM.EARTHLINK" ADDRESS RATHER THAN FTP.(USER NAME).ORG. DON'T REMEMBER HAVING TO DO THAT BEFORE, BUT MEMORIES ARE POOR.
USING MAC OS 10.4.10.
