Problems: Growl and empty files

I use Cyberduck 2.8b1 (3178):

Growl notifications don't work anymore. I used Growl to notify me about successful uploads, but now it doesnt anymore.
I had an older version of Growl. Now I updated to 1.1, but no change.

Cyberduck does not upload empty files. Create an empty file and drag it on an open Cyperduck window. Transfer windwo shows activity, but the file won't be on the server. To get empty files onto the server you must create them with Cyberduck.

Anybody else having these problems?

The empty file issue is resolved in the latest nightly build available at http://update.cyberduck.ch/nightly/
