2.8 seems to suck

sorry for the hard words but i think the new version goes the wrong way. i've
used cyberduck because of it's handy and logic workflow.
now i have to click here and there only to tell the application i want not to
overwrite files. in the older versions i simply decide what to do with a
single click. now i have to select of a dropdown menu then click continue.
another problem i have new with the 2.8 … the file permissions and timestamps
going wild. i've selected to preserve the stamps but they only change locally
after a download when i click on the files. because i'm sorting my files in
the download folder by date there is no chance to see which file has recently
changed.
the file permissions now have to set explicit and don't take care of the
settings got from the parent folder as i think it was in the older versions.
yes i did not a search for possible older threads regarding the points i've
wrote before… i just want to let you know that the new version goes the wrong
way.
kind regards
