Today downloaded latest version, starting afresh with new hard disk, all other frequently-used apps ok...
New Connection; enter server name: get "yellow triangle with !"
If I press on regardless, I get "login successful" and then, after a re-try: "0 files", which is false.
Double-checked with my host helpdesk which was able to access the server using a freshly-downloaded cyberduck.
One possible variable: I changed the preferences in Browser; text encoding: to UTF-8. Can't remember what the default was, can anyone suggest (as the host helpdesk's gone home) likely encodings?
