Saved File doesn't upload - Tex-Edit Plus

I have installed Tex-Edit Plus and selected it as my Cyberduck External Editor. Editing a file with an external editor works as far as downloading the file and opening Tex-Edit Plus.

When I save the file in Tex-Edit Plus nothing happens as far as Cyberduck is concerned. The file does not upload.

Where can I find out what is going on? Or any suggestions as far as how to get this working? I tried rebuilding the Mac OS messaging with lsregister, but saving in Tex-Edit Plus still does not initiate an upload of the edited file.

I am running Mac OS 10.4.11 on a Dual G4 MDD mac.

What is supposed to be happening, how do I troubleshoot it?

I've had the same problem with BBEdit ever since I upgraded to Leopard, but the problem was solved by upgrading to the latest Cyberduck release (2.8.2 3346). Hope it helps

Thank you for the information. I wish I knew what logs I should be looking at, or some way of seeing what messaging is taking place so I can see where it is breaking down. I've been able to work around this with my hosting company's cPanel tools, but it would be nice to get this working.
