SFTP SSH problem when attempting to file transfer

Hi
My client has a problem when attempting to upload a file to a remote SFTP server. The site require a Public and Private keys and initially this was a problem because the private key the remote site sent us was a non standard RSA key and was created in using the PuTTY key generator on a PC. So I jumped on a PC, downloaded PuTTy and coverted the key to a RSA key and imported into the CyberDuck bookmark for the remote site. Great now we can successfully login to the remote site a see the root level directory. The problem we are experiencing now is with a secure file transfer. When attempting to upload a file to the remote site I get a return error "SSH Error: Upload Failed. /FILENAME.rtf. An error occurred, but no specific error code exists to describe the failure. Cancel / Try again". The error is vague or non-descriptive but it does mention a SSH Error. I guess this is problem with the encryption when transferring the file. From what I can gather from reading previous posts on this forum there is SSH2 which is not currently supported by CyberDuck. I need to establish with the remote site what flavor of SSH they are using and I am awaiting a reply to that. However any suggestions to this problem would be greatly appreciated.
