Can't upload via SFTP

Hi, I can't upload files via sftp. I can log on and list directories only. The message on the transfer window is 'transfer incomplete' all the time, with version 3.0b3. Following a suggestion in a previous post (http://trac.cyberduck.ch/ticket/1296), I tried installing version 2.7.3 but it didn't work either -- I got this error message: 'sftp subsystem could not be initialized'. Thanks for your help.
