When do we get the bugs fixed??
When do we get the bugs fixed??
At least include either an Installer OR instructions when you give us the next version.
I keep thinking that I'm doing something wrong OR I'm missing some software of some sort. Growl??
I have a G4/1 ghz/1 gig RAM/500 gig Seagate/1.5 Broadband.
Should I be able to use Cyberduck??

Re: When do we get the bugs fixed??
You can track the current bugs at http://trac.cyberduck.ch/timeline. The roadmap for future releases can be found at http://trac.cyberduck.ch/roadmap. 3.0.1 is almost ready. What is the issue you have?
Re: When do we get the bugs fixed??
The issue I have is what I stated:
1. No Installer or installation procedure given, and;
2. The Cyberduck app will not open. Nothing happens if you dbl clk it.
I listed my system and machine just in case somehow I have insufficient equipment.

Re: When do we get the bugs fixed??
What version of Mac OS X are you using? Sounds to me like you are running a system that is not supported.
As far as installing goes, its rare to find an "installer" on the Mac for an app like Cyberduck. Just drag and drop the icon from the disk image to the applications folder on your Mac.

As I previously said, and others have stated, "The Cyberduck app will not open. Nothing happens if you dbl clk it."

What version of Mac OS X are you using? This may be the related if you are trying to use the most recent version of Cyberduck.

Re: When do we get the bugs fixed??
Ok Cyberduck should work on your system. Did you have an older version installed?
Also, when you download the dmg for Cyberduck does it look like a normal dmg? (Some times Safari can misinterpret dmg and add anoter extension). Also how are you installing Cyberduck, what steps do you go through?

-------
No, this is the first Cyberduck I've checked out.
Also, when you download the dmg for Cyberduck does it look like a normal dmg? (Some times Safari can misinterpret dmg and add anoter extension).
---------------
Looks like a normal dmg icon and it is labeled Cyberduck-3.0.dmg
Also how are you installing Cyberduck, what steps do you go through?
The first time I simply dragged the Cyberduck app to my Applications folder. Double clicked and nothing happened. 'Cyberduck' didn't even appear in my Apple Menu.
Then I tried making a new folder in my Apps folder and copied everything into it. Again nothing would work.
I have also tried re-downloading with the exact same results.
Then I discarded everything and downloaded Cyberduck v.3.0b3 and it wouldn't work either.
------------
If you'll check the other posts you'll find others are having this same IDENTICAL problem.

Do you have WindowDragon installed? Put Cyberduck on the exclude list if so. Otherwise please post any related output from the console.log (/Applications/Utilities/Console.app).zhmmy wrote:As I previously said, and others have stated, "The Cyberduck app will not open. I have never heard of WindowDragon.
This is what Console logs when I dbl clk on Cyberduck:
-[NSJavaVirtualMachine initWithClassPath:] FATAL: cannot initialize ObjCJava. Exit

- 1. Try running Cyberduck using a different account. (System Preferences > Accounts )
2. Try reinstalling the latest Java Update for 10.4 available from http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ ... ease3.html.
Re: When do we get the bugs fixed??
I did exactly as you said.
No change. Cyberduck would not open.
I even downloaded it again and replaced the other one with a new one.
It won't work.
Have you talked to the other people who are having exactly the same problem?
