Cyberduck 'broken pipe'

There is a big problem with large uploads it seems. Many times I have tried to upload a 500MB + file, and each time it stops with an error 'broken pipe'.
There is no certain point where the connection stops - sometimes at 126 MB, another at 355, etc. This happens with many different files, of all kinds (.mp3 and .avi and .zip).
I was able to upload these files using the commandline ftp without any problems at at, so I believe the problem is with Cyberduck, and not the server or my computer, nor my internet connection.
I would file a bug report, but it seems so random that I was wondering if anyone else had problems of this nature.
On the other hand with small files (<10MB) there are no problems whatsoever. I can edit the file, save, etc. So I am happy with Cyberduck except for the large file transfers.
Working here on a MacBook Pro - Intel Core Duo 2Ghz. 1Gb Ram
Thanks.
