Hi,
I downloading several text files from a MS Windows machine and no matter which 'Default Transfer Mode and Convert Line Ending' I choose under preferences, the files always end up with CR LF as line terminator (default in Windows). I tried Automatic as ASCII in several .txt files, but nothing seems to work.
The Darwin SFTP (command line) does not have this 'conversion' feature like the standard FTP (set a).
Am I doing something wrong? Is this a feature only for FTP, not SFTP?
Thanks in advance,
Javier
Text Conversion doesn't work with SFTP
Text conversion doesn't work with FTP either
Hi,
Did you find any solution to your problem with the line ending ?
I have the same problem when trandfering txt files from my MacOSX to a UNIX server. I am connected under a standard FTP protocol and tried the different options for the ASCII transfer with converion of the line ending... Nothing worked.
Does anybody haave an solution ?
Thanks in advance
Etienne

No, since I post this nobody answer. I kept updating Cyberduck but got the same problem. I gave up and un-install it.EtienneKK wrote:Hi,
