Can I have no icon?

Hey guys, I searched for this, but nothing turned up...

Is there a way I can just have no Buddy Icon in AIM? Adium automatically defaults my icon to whatever the address book has, and sometimes, I just like having no icon.

turn off "Use Address Book images as contacts' icons" under advanced prefs.

Although i do think that this should be a separate pref under Accounts:Personal for choosing Icon that explicitly says don't use address book icon for me

Actually what I envision is an option that lets user choose to either use AB icon or the ImageWell set-able icon. (and hence to have no set icon you choose to have it not use AB and use the Well but then don't have an icon set there.)

Currently, the integration of AB icons over-rules the user-set per IM account icon.

Hope this makes some sense.

Nope, this doesn't work, even after clearing the recent user icons, and deleting and recreating the account. Any other ideas?

hmm... guess i had forgotten, i think eventually i did just delete my "user icon" from addressbook (select you, click edit, click picture, hit delete). (Not sure may have even had to change it in "Accounts" prefs pane in System Prefs)
