Contact randomly appearing in different groups

I have two groups in Adium - "MSN" and "AIM". But lately, Adium is randomly putting one of my MSN contacts into a group called "Buddies", then putting him back to the MSN group and then back to the Buddies group again.

It's pretty weird, and this has never happened to me before. I have never made a group called Buddies either, unless it was a default group in Adium or something.

Only one contact is being moved, and it's his MSN account. I tried manually moving him back into the MSN group but it didn't seem to work. This seems to be a recent problem (or at least I never noticed it before)...

I'm getting that too - but because I am new to Adium I don't know if it's a new problem or not. It seems to be that you can only move the users to different groups when they are online. But even then I have had problems. The other day I went to move all my contacts to the buddy list and they all got deleted!

Anyway I know I've not been much help but try moving the contacts back when they are actually online. As I think it's something to do with updating the MSN Server list. I don't know for sure but yoou may have more luck.. Let me know.
