No. Your new account you singed up with the one with the "S" or whatever. That works with the beta of yahoo does it also work with the 2.5.3 build of yahoo?

The two different accounts DO NOT effect the sign in cababilities of the messangers. You should be able to use any(old or new) yahoo account to log in on either the 2.5.3 yahoo messanger or the 3.0rb1r2(beta) yahoo messanger.

Are your yahoo messanger 3.0 beta buddie users not showing up on adium? Like your buddies who are using the beta not showing up on adium?

I was looking through the forums and found this thread. I am glad the patient developers resolved the issue, though I still have no idea whatsoever what was wrong, and after seeing that sheep remark I don't think I want to.
Adium developers must be psychic. I am thoroughly impressed.
