Message View Request

Post by getalife03 »

Ok, so this may be a little (a lot) far fetched, but I had this idea while reading the message about the one window option. It would involve a rewrite of the tabs, but it would show all of your conversations at once, with the current conversation in color, and the background ones in gray. I made a mockup (using microsoft word because I have no idea how to use anything else with pictures) so take a look at it and tell me if you think it's possible. The thought is that you would be able to resize each conversation within the window to make some big, some small. It may be impossible, but I like the idea. I posted a picture further down in this thread

Also, if anyone could do a better mock-up (better looking) feel free to do so!

Thanks,
Steve

It might be annoying to the people who just click on the window to type since there are two segments.

could you just tab from one segment to the other? It may even be easier than the tabs that are currently used...

this doesn't seem like it would be intuitive or useful at all, and just wastes screen real estate. if you want conversations side by side, just drag the tab out and create a new window. voila.
