When is this damn Intel Crash being fixed?

It's almost a year since Intels were brought out...why does my Adium still crash when I sign in?

Relax. The world isn't ending. And if Adium on Intel is 100% broken, then how come my Adium works just fine?

What version of Adium are you running? I assume you are using OS X 10.4.8 Intel? What IM service(s) are you using?

Use the beta if the current release is crashing, it's already fixed there. And there's no need to be less than civil.

Anyway, it's 0.89.1 on 10.4.8...it crashes when I come online, but if I choose to be invisible for 5 or so minutes then it's fine...

I'll try the beta out.

Just bought a macbook a week ago. Installed adium and it keeps crashing. Any ideas of the cause?...someone said it could be a bug due the intel chip. any ideas what the problem is and how to fix it?

Yes, I use AdiumX with MSN, Yahoo, AOL, and now GTalk.

I also use AdiumX with MSN, Yahoo, and AOL at home on my intel iMac though I do not use it nearly as often. That install has been working since March 2006.
