new to SVN.. basic question i think..

Post by conceptbravery »

well after the suggestion that i check out the service icons in the SVN i decided to download it... i went through all the instructions on the adium site, and got the latest update through svn/terminal..

i was just wondering now, is adium automagically updated? because it feels like i should find those files somewhere and compile it myself or something.. but i can't seem to find any files.

thanks so much..

What do you mean?

If you mean it updates automatically, then no.

You have to run svn update every time you want to update the source.

And all the files are there, it's just that some are in the folders inside

When you download the source with SVN, there should be an "adium" folder in your home folder. For the service icons, look in adium/Resources/Service Icons/Gaim.AdiumServiceIcons/.
