Adium + Growl sticky against my preferences

Post by incanus »

Hello,

I recently upgraded to Growl 0.7.6 and now quite frequently, my Adium notifications will be sticky even though I'm using the default, non-sticky preferences.

I'm running the latest (stable) Adium.

I've removed Adium from Growl registration and had it re-register, but this still persists.

Any ideas?

The default for sticky is to allow the application to choose I thought. Edit your growl alert settings in adium and see if the problem is due to the sticky setting being selected.

i had the same problem, adium shows sticky notifications
i opened the growl pref pane and i unchecked the option “sticky notifications after 30s of inactivity”
hope that works

It could very well be that... I recently turned on the "after 30s option". I've turned it off and I'll see if maybe that's where the problem was coming from -- in which case, sorry for the trouble.
