I'm trying to upload phpbb2 to my server. I initially just tried uploading the entire folder, but it just seemed to start the connection procedure, with the loading bar, etc. but before transferring any files it just came up with "Disconnected" in the transfer window.
I get a bit better luck if I try doing them individually… but is this a problem with the software or my server?
uploads disconnecting
same problem
I have the same problem -- it started when the last update was released.
And I can't find anyway to show the transcript so that I can try to figure out why it's disconnecting.

Same issue - looks like sub-directory creation issue
I am seeing the exactly the same problem. I have seen the same issue with two different FTP servers. Dozens and dozens of errors trying to upload a site as raw files. The first time it fails silently, subsequently it gives the error that it could not restart an upload for '.htaccess' (a hidden file), even though that does not appear to be the file (or even the right directory) .
I have tried swapping passive/active mode and changing to the using the same connection as the browser (this just had the effect that the transfers no longer showed up on the transfer window!), but settings did not seem make any difference.
It looks like an issue with creating and uploading files into sub-directories, as each time it stops it has just created a new directory, but not yet populated it with any files.
I also had issues deleting the uploaded subdirectories in one go - I had to do it one sub-directory at a time. (I tried deleting hidden files, as the 2nd error onwards gave the error that it could not restart an upload for .htaccess, but it had not effect. I suspect that the error message was incorrect.)

I have exactly the same problem! Ever since the update my uploads consistently fail. I tried changing from my regular wireless router to another and I saw some improvements, uploads still fail but not as soon.
Is there a way to revert to a previous version of Cyberduck? I can't use it the way things are now. Seems I'll have to use Transmit until there's a fix.
