Changing profile background color

Post by CJ »

Hi, i noticed that this is a new feature of adium on the version history, but i don't know how to use it. Does anyone know how to change your profile's background color? Any help would be great, thanks!

Try going Format -> Shot Fonts, then changing the background colour (on the top, 4th from the left). IIRC this is the way to do it, but I'm not entirely certain.

First, go to your profile window and type some text. Highlight that text, go to Format > Show Fonts. Near the top of the window there should be a row of icons. The first three have "T" on them. The fourth one has a document icon on it. Click the fourth one; a color wheel should pop up. Click the color you want, and if you un-highlight the text, it will be in color.

Hope that helps.
