I have some questions about this transport thing...

Is it normal that some of my contacts doesn't get imported? And that some of contacts I know to be online (because I checked on my "true" MSN account) simply doesn't appear as online through transport?

I mean, is this a bug of the "transport concept" or maybe if I change the transport server things will be fixed?

I tried both draugr.de and bgmn.net, and both failed importing all of my contacts.

Another question... What does transport do with blocked contacts? Are they still blocked when I log in through tranport? Can I unblock or block them again normally?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for the number of questions...

Another update on this topic:

1) The MSN name seems to get lost after a while.. now my contacts see me as nielspeter16 again instead of my preferred displayname..

2) File transfers do not work when using the jabber service - is that expected? Kind of bad as we use MSn for sending quick work-snippets/screenshots/etc/etc

Little big bumb, sorry :P

Is there any news on this front? I'd rather not use the jabber method, too much con's for me personally. Last posts here are from February, so maybe something changed regarding the personal WLM message in the mean time?

Is there an approximate ETA for 1.2? I'm really looking forward to it!

Considering it's crashed on connect for about the past 2-3 weeks, it was necessary. I'm really hoping the issues get worked out so we can turn 14 back on though.

is the libpurple team working on it? or is the issue is on adium's side?

Don't get me wrong, but does it matter? Laying blame isn't very productive.

Adium doesnt support most standard features for MSN.

Hence why I quit using it shortly after installing it.

That wasnt laying blame, that was a question as to why adium doesnt do what, say, aMSN does....or *gulp* normal msn does.

So will Adium 1.2 use msnp9 or msnp14?

You literally quoted your answer:

Indeed. When 1.2 is otherwise ready, it'll be released. If that includes msnp14, that's fantastic. If msnp14 isn't ready yet, we won't delay releasing over it -- 1.2 has *tons* of new features and bug fixes, and it makes no sense to hold it off to pack another set of features in.
The duck still burns.

Sorry for the insistence but it's the feature I'm waiting for two years! I saw Pidgin 2.3.0 has been released but I can't find anything in the changelog that refers to MSN personal status and I thought it was planned for this released of libpurple. Am I missing something or it's been moved to another milestone?
