Adium 1.0 not showing message history

Ever since I upgraded to Adium 1.0, the Message History feature no longer works. All of my chat windows appear blank when I open them, even though my preferences say to Always show the last 20 lines of history. How can I fix this?

Not that I have an answer for this, but I thought that I would chime and agree that I'm having the same problem.

What message style are you guys using?

It might not matter, but it could potentially help reproduce the problem...

Happened to me too... mockie brown left icon message style.

I think what caused it is that Adium 1.0 beachball crashed on its first opening when trying to index message history.

Had to force quit it.

I have seen peoples options being changed... Make sure it is still on in the Message History Prefs.

It wasnt' changed for me.

History works correctly from this point on.. it just didn't get any of the old history.

Yes, the way we do message history is printed. It probably has to use new logs, or let the old ones convert first.

Because this resolves itself after a conversation using Adium 1.0, we didn't add the overhead of having an upgrade path for previous in-window message history. Your transcripts themselves are unaffected.
