random contacts without (service)icon

I've noticed how (since the betá) some of my contacts (MSN) don't have a service icon when i hover over them (or chat with them, or "get info"). as a result (i think), i'm not able to see their display pictures.

i have about 100 MSN contacts on my list i'm having this problem with ~12 contacts.
would it help if i reinstall Adium completly? (also delete the plist file)?

I'm pretty sure this is a known issue. I think it deals with the downloading of buddy pictures. I know there are issues similar to this with AIM as well. I would definitely say file a trac ticket unless a developer chimes in here.
