Adium 1.0 crashes on switch from offline to available

Post by pmdubuc »

Just upgraded to Adium 1.0 and noticed that it crashes when I go offline and then try to switch back to available status. It doesn't completely crash. The Contacts window disappears and the duck closes its eyes, but the fan on my iMac G5 kicks up a notch and I notice much higher CPU activity. In a terminal window I run top and notice adium still running and using about 40% of the CPU. I have to use kill on the pid to get rid of it (the application does't show up in the Force Quit) window.

The contact window disappears if you are offline, if you are offline, there is nothing to display. The eyes on the duck are supposed to close, the duck has different forms for each status, I am not sure you are experiencing anything other than normal behavior...
