Font color issues

I got Adiumx 1.0 and I changed my font to another color and clicked Save This Setting as My Default Font and the font changed for the first IM I sent. But then when I began typing again, the Font Changed Back to its old color. Could you help me fix this problem on my comp? Thanks in advance.

I'd like to see a solution to this too - I've been having the same exact problem. Also, my fonts won't stick either.

Try deleting Home > Library > Application Support > Adium 2.0 > Users > Default > Formatting.plist. You will lose your previous formatting style. Does that help?

no it doesn't help. but i can live with it (for a while) as the features i like in Adium still make it worthwhile

I have the same problem and I already read what the trac had to say and unfortunately, it still didn't help me. The new font color would stay for one message then revert back to my older color.

Just a little bump. Having the same problem as everyone else. I'm trying to use the Dark message format and would like to permanently change my font color to white and the background of the window I type in black.
