Installation

I know how you typically install adium, but...

here goes the fun part

I want to install it on my flash drive, while using windows, so then i can use it when i go to a mac

can anyone help?

Search for Portable Adium, someone has addressed this.

this isnt gonna work, i cant open the .dmg file. Besides, it looks like it wouldnt save user data.

It was designed specifically to save user data to a portable device and run from there as well.

Grab the dmg
Grab portable adium if you need that

Next time you are on the mac, take care of configuring there.
