AppleScript to move files on server

Is it possible to move files from one directory to another on an ftp server via AppleScript? I have not been able to figure out how to do this... and I have tried!! Manually I can move files from one directory to another but I want to do this in AppleScript. I do not want to have to download the files and then upload them to another directory just to move them! :-)
