Contact list hiding weirdness
Again, these are the conditions. 100% reproducible for me.
Dock on Right edge
Adium buddy list on Right edge
Dock set to Not hide
Adium set to have buddy list Hide On Screen Edge
Have you tried those exact conditions and gotten it to not happen? I am confused as to what could possibly be the reason I can 100% duplicate this on every machine I tried, and no one else has?

Exact same conditions, no reproduction. Bugs aren't necessarily obvious even if they seem to be. It's not for lack of trying on our part to reproduce.ebernet wrote:Again, these are the conditions. 100% reproducible for me.

Got it. Easily reproducible now given the below.
The problem is the window style, specifically the regular window style.

Note the subtler interaction of the bug itself, not just in contact list hiding but in the combination of Dock and list location as well as the specific window style.

And the misreporting of the Dock hiding was what caused me not to reproduce it before when I did go through all five window styles and couldn't get it to break.bgannin wrote:Note the subtler interaction of the bug itself, not just in contact list hiding but in the combination of Dock and list location as well as the specific window style.

You know that old saying - never assume...
