Contact list styles broken in 1.01

Post by ranathari »

I've noticed that some contact list styles and layouts seem to be broken in Adium 1.0 and 1.01. For example, if you download Stockholm or Simple then the .listlayout and .listtheme have no icon and OS X says there is no application associated with them. Manually opening them with Adium throws up an unrecognised file type error.

However, both those styles work fine on the last beta version (0.8 something) of Adium and other styles like 1928 Overture work fine on 1.0 and 1.01.

Even more weirdly, if you install the last beta of Adium and install those contact list styles and layouts and then install Adium 1.01 over the top then they work fine in 1.01.

I've searched for this in the bug tracker and on the forums and haven't found anything else like it.

.89.1 was not a beta, that was alpha release software. That said, I have not seen this, so without more information I do not know what to tell you.

Bzzt. 0.89.1 was a stable release, not an alpha.
Try my software!

The styles that don't work have the appropriate suffixes. I don't think it's a problem with my Mac because those styles do work on 0.89.1 just not on 1.0 or 1.01 - it seems to be a problem with Adium itself.
