Not getting any notifications from hardwaregrowler

All my other notifications work fine. Hardware Growler shows up in my applications list. I followed the directions on the http://growl.info/documentation/hardwaregrowler.php the only thing i did differently was when adding it to my login items list, i checked it so that it runs hidden. is that why it's not doing anything?

i'm not sure what other info to give as i followed the directions on the install page, but if screenshots are needed or something let me know.

Try it without the hidden stuff to see if that's it, since you suspect that first.

after unhiding it, i still get no notifications.

Deleting the application ticket in the applications tab of Growl doesn't help?
