actually you can view handwriting messages on msn on a mac... mercury messenger allows you to view handwriting messages... i dont think it works to send them... and it doesnt work in multi-chat either... just 1-to-1 msn.

In aMSN, it send a picture of the draw. But it only work with aMSN contact. Because user of Live Messenger who have installed Microsoft Journal Viewer only accept ISF (witch is a proprietary binary protocol patented and secret).
A developper of aMSN claim to have retro enginered ISF http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2964, if it is true it will be possible to create a plugin to make draw accepted by Live Mess users, because now it is pretty useless if it is only work with adium/aMSN user ... wait maybe not, if someone is motivated
