Adium 1.0.4, OSX 10.3.9
Here's a silly little bug...
When I first boot-up my Mac, the Adium icon in the dock has it's eyes open, though Adium isn't running.
I go ahead and use Adium for awhile (with no problems) Once I quit Adium, I notice that the dock icon's eyes are now closed.
Now, if I log-out from my individual user account on my Mac and then log back in, the eyes in the dock will be open again, even though Adium is not running.
I first noticed this oddity starting with the version before the recent 1.0.4 update. It was working correctly before that prior version. I was hoping the latest release would fix it. Guess not.
Like I said, it's a silly little bug. Doesn't affect functionality. It's just a nice little touch that isn't working right anymore.
Thanks.
Eyes wide open
I'm pretty sure I recall the eyes being closed at all times if Adium isn't running, including when first logging-in to a user account. It would make sense that way.mipadi wrote:I thought the icon always had open eyes immediately upon logging in to an account. I'm sure I've noted that behavior before, and figured it had something to do with reloading the icon when the account was logged in (since all Dock app icons are reloaded at that time, I believe).
Hopefully, someone in-the-know can straighten this one out definitively...
