Adium For Windows
Adium For Windows
I think it would be really cool if you could make a version for windows. I was looking at it on my friends Mac and it looked pretty sick. If you could make one that would be awsome, but if it requires too much re-programing its alrite.
Thanks,
Peter Miller

Short answer: Sorry, but it's very unlikely.
Longer answer: Adium is written using a lot of MacOS X - specific stuff.
In-Depth answer: do a forum search, and you'll find this is pretty well covered already.

Actually, this has been discussed before. But yeah, Adium is written almost entirely in Cocoa, so a version for Windows is just about as likely as an x86 version of Mac OS X.zaudragon wrote:Never saw it before… and I read all of these threads personally, unless they're before 12/03/04Perez wrote:In-Depth answer: do a forum search, and you'll find this is pretty well covered already.
Use Gaim, the "brother" of Adium for Linux/Windows.

If you want something close to ADium for windows,
try Miranda version 0.4 rc 2 (or better), with tabsram plugin and IEview plugin, you will be able to do the same things that adium does!...
here is a link for a "contactlist like" for Miranda

Well, a "secret" version of Mac OS 8 was done for x86.
But they never released it to the public.

Hmm... okay, so I searched, and didn't find anything useful other than this thread. I know I've seen it lots; I guess in the old forums.zaudragon wrote:Never saw it before…Perez wrote:In-Depth answer: do a forum search, and you'll find this is pretty well covered already.
