MSNP14 Support coming soon?

Post by ksec »

I see Libpurple will have MSNP14 support merged in 5 days. I am wondering if Adiumx will follow?

Will we see MSNP14 support in version 1.1?

I'm curious to know where you're getting your info that the merge will happen in 5 days?
I'm having trouble finding an easy way of watching what's going on with the libpurple progress on MSNP14,

That said, that's a roadmap, not a schedule, so take it with a nice big grain of salt.

Ok while the MSNP14 branch has quite a bit to go ( with 11 open ticket ).
I also didn't realize that AdiumX is actually quite close to release 1.1 Looks like as the developer said in other thread MSNP 14 for 1.1 may be quite late ><

So quite possibly we wont see MSNP 14 within this year then ><

Stop trying to predict more than 6 months of work, it's a lesson in futility. When MSN14 is ready to branched into libpurple Pidgin's developers will do so, at which point we'll pick up the changes for our next major release.

As to the timing of either of those events, it's up to the developers and isn't something approximated in a forum thread.
Try my software!

#define ADIUMX pimp //by me
#define QUESTION ((2b) || (!2b))
